Global Entry membership is valid for five years. To find your specific expiration date, log in to your Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) account.

When Should You Renew Global Entry?

You can apply to renew your Global Entry membership up to one year before it expires. There’s a good reason not to wait until the last minute.

If you submit your renewal application before your membership expires, you can continue using your Global Entry benefits for up to 24 months after the expiration date while your renewal is being processed.

My advice? Once you’re eligible to renew, take care of it. It’s one less thing to think about before your next international trip.

What Do You Need to Renew Global Entry?

Before you begin your renewal application, take a few minutes to gather the information you may need. The application may ask you to update details such as your address, employment and international travel history.

Having that information ready before you start can make the renewal process easier.

What Does Global Entry Cost?

Global Entry currently costs $120 for a five-year membership and includes TSA PreCheck benefits.

Before paying the fee, check the benefits offered by your credit card. Some premium travel credit cards provide a statement credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fees.

Another Option: Mobile Passport Control
