The Global Entry Mobile App: A Quick Guide
I have been using Global Entry since the beginning and have renewed it several times. This is how important it is to me not to stand in long lines. Using the Global Entry Mobile App drops another contact point (the kiosk) from your rush to baggage claim.
The Global Entry Mobile App will help you get home faster, now that Global Entry is back at U.S. airports.
Here’s a quick guide to get started:
1. Download the Global Entry Mobile App to your smartphone before your trip.
Being ready for the next step will help make your arrival stress-free.
2. When you arrive at your first U.S. international airport and are in the arrivals terminal, open the app.
3. Tap “New Submission” and select your arrival airport.
If you are traveling with family members who are also Global Entry members, one user can manage
the app for up to 11 other travelers.
4. Confirm your customs declarations.
5. Take a selfie of each traveler and submit.
If it goes through successfully, you will receive an electronic receipt to show to a Global Entry officer.
If you do not receive a receipt, go to one of the Global Entry kiosks and proceed as you would normally.
